Synopsis: On vacation at the beach, Lisa plays dumb to make friends with some "cool" kids, leaving an envious Bart all burned up, with Milhouse as his only comrade.

Synopsis: Lisa and Bart spend the summer at Kamp Krusty. During their stay, they enjoy special summer treats such as pine cones and gruel.
July 4th Moment: While Bart is daydreaming, he imagines the faculty and students of Springfield Elementary trashing the building to the song "School's Out for Summer" by Alice Cooper.

"Like Father, Like Clown"
Synopsis: Krusty reveals his Jewish heritage and his estrangement from his father. Bart and Lisa work to reconcile Krusty with Rabbi Krustofski.
July 4th Moment: Looking at the Simpson family album, we see a photo of Bart as he surreptitiously lights a firecracker.
